We define (Spiritual) authority as the divinely delegated right and power given to believers by God to act on His behalf, to advance His Kingdom, and to enact His will on earth. This authority is exercised through faith, obedience to God's Word, and reliance on the Holy Spirit, enabling believers to overcome sin, resist the enemy, minister to others, and fulfill God's purposes.
Reclaiming Authority
Genesis 2:27-28: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God
said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth over the earth.
In Luke 10:19-20 Jesus declared that through Him we can have authority over the enemy. “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the Enemy, and nothing by all means shall hurt you.”
We live in an intense time in human history. It is not the time to cower in fear, or allow darkness, evil, and defeat to overtake us. It is time to step into and assert apostolic authority in our families, workplaces, schools, and communities.
