Guest Reception System

System Owner:

Purpose/Scope: This system details how we get our guests into a one-on-one conversation with Pastor and Sis. Cathy following the services, so they can  give them a gift and take a picture.
  1. Responsibility: 
  2. Prepare the Guest Reception Area. 
  3. Welcome Guests with Pastor and Sis. Cathy. 
  4. Help with smooth, natural transitions in conversation. 

  1. Procedure: 
  1. Pray together with the First Impressions Team before service. 
  2. Get supplies ready for guest reception before and following the service (supplies needed will be in Guest Reception designated area). 
  3. Have adequate number of gifts in Guest Reception area for the number of guests present in the service. 
  4. Make sure Guest Reception area is clean and ready for guests to arrive. 
  5. Await guests and welcome them, make sure no one is left alone. 
  6. Once Pastor and Sis Cathy are greeting the final guest or two - you can slip out and leave if you need too. 
  7. Be at your post 5 minutes before the end of service.
  8. Guests will be introduced (by name) to the Guest Reception Team by a member of the Campus Host Team. Please introduce yourself and use the guest (s) name. 
  9. Make sure that all guests are welcome and talking to one of the Guest Reception team members. As soon as the Pastor can - he or the First Lady will greet them personally.
  10. Pastor and Sis Cathy will take a picture with the guest. The Pastor can text them ten minutes later, thanking them for coming.
  11. A nice (posed) digital picture gets taken and printed to send in the Pastor  packet that will go out on Tuesday.
