Saturday Morning Prayer - 11DEC21

Dec 11, 2021    Elder Wayne Dummitt

Prayer on Saturday mornings is how we come together to prepare for our weekends. We can plan and prepare, but first, PRAYER!

Let’s Pray at Noon

“Tell me, O one I love, where are you leading your flock today? Where will you be at noon?” (Song of Solomon 1:7)

“Where will you be at noon?” Noonday is usually a busy time, and it may be difficult to quiet your mind or break away for prayer. Lunch breaks filled with people and meetings clamoring for attention while you digest your food are commonplace today.

Try Noontime Prayer and Devotional Reading

Do you find the idea of praying at noontime challenging?

Most people these days have access to the internet or own a smart-phone. There are many apps available that allow you to keep track of your prayers and notes electronically or set reminders to pray and read devotional messages whenever it is convenient.
If you don’t have access to this technology, don’t lose heart! A simple, heartfelt prayer whispered while eating lunch or a few minutes spent in quiet meditation during an afternoon break will
replenish the spiritual and mental energy that a hectic morning may have
depleted.

Where will YOU be at noon? How will you find more chances to pray?

During our 21 days of prayer and fasting in January we will have zoom prayer meetings every day Monday through Friday at noon that you can join in.
