Men's Day of Fellowship 2025

Attention Outdoorsmen of All Ages!

We are excited to have a fun day of Fishing and Fellowship at Rough River Dam State Park on Saturday, June 7th. This coincides with Kentucky's "Free Fishing Weekend" when no fishing license or permits are required for anyone to fish on the state's waters.

The registration cost is $10 for each person attending to help cover food and drinks. Kids 10 and under are free! Please REGISTER by June 4th so that we can get a headcount!

tHE pLAN

All men participating (ages 5-95) will meet at the church, we will depart at 10:30am. We are looking to drive the church van and a truck to carry additional equipment (Canopy, lawn chairs, coolers, food, cornhole, fishing poles and equipment etc.). There are grills on site so, we will bring food to grill for lunch. At the lake Fishing poles are provided for checkout (no cost).  Men may bring a change of clothes to participate in other activities that are available at the park. Rough River lake is Central Standard Time 1 hour behind Radcliff. Participants may drive their personal vehicle if desired. Contact Bro. Johnson for information. Participants will need to register ($10 per person) using  the church QR code no later than 4 June 2025.

  • Rent a pontoon boat or a Kayak and explore the beautiful 5,000 acre Rough River Lake.
  • Explore the 3.8 km permanent orienteering course in a mixed forest and park-like setting.
  • Fishing
The avid angler will delight in the abundance of fish. Stop by the lodge front desk and ask about our free fishing loaner program! Fish for largemouth, white and Kentucky bass, bluegill, channel catfish, crappie and rough fish.
