P7 Bible Club

System Owner:  Maddex Feller

Purpose and Scope:
-To create an Apostolic presence in our school and community
-To spread the Gospel throughout our schools
-To draw our peers closer to God

Procedure:
1) Owner Responsibilities:
The system owner will be responsible for staying in communication with the club sponsor to schedule club meetings and socials.
The systems owner is responsible for creating a monthly schedule for teachers and will notify teachers of any changes in the lesson schedule.
The system owner will print lessons and organize lessons binders for teachers.
The system owner will be responsible for notifying teachers of any changes in the lesson schedule.
The system owner will be responsible for using Remind 101 or texting to send out a reminder message to P7 participants each Tuesday at 6:oo p.m. and again at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesdays.
The system owner will be responsible for purchasing snacks before Wednesday meetings and bringing them to the P7 meeting room.  (Ask for donations from church members.)
The system owner will be responsible for keeping an accurate/ organized record of snack purchases and t-shirt ordering.
The system owner will be responsible for discussing (monthly) P7 funding with the lead Pastor or Youth Pastor.
Owner Procedure for Scheduling Socials:
Discuss with club sponsor one month before planned social
Host a social after each teacher has taught two lessons OR during the week before Winter and Summer Breaks

2) Teacher Responsibilities
Each teacher will be responsible for being prepared for the lesson they will teach.
Each teacher will be responsible for ensuring every participant has a ride home BEFORE they begin teaching the lesson.
Each teacher will be responsible to use visuals (objects relating to lessons, PowerPoints, etc.) and will not read directly from the provided lesson.
Each teacher is responsible to ask questions to engage participants.
Each teacher is responsible for notifying the system owner ONE WEEK ahead of time if they will not be attending the meeting they are to teach.
Each teacher will be responsible for incorporating the Steps of Salvation in their lesson

Teacher’s Creed/Constitution
I agree to notify the system owner when I will not able to attend/teach a P7 meeting, and I understand that failure to consistently attend P7 meetings can affect my position as a teacher.
I will regularly attend Sunday and Wednesday services, Church Prayer, and other church events.
I will participate in P7 Outreach.
I will have a daily, personal Bible Study/Reading time to grow spiritually and be ready to help my peers grow closer to God.

3) Secretary Responsibilities
The secretary will be responsible for staying up to date on the schedule of Youth Rallies and Student Socials to invite participants via announcements.
The secretary will be responsible for contacting the System Owner and using Attendance Sheet templates to record weekly P7 attendance.
The secretary can also help ask church members for snack or monetary donations and get them to the meeting.

4) Opening Prayer Leader Responsibilities
The opening prayer leader will be responsible for officially beginning the club meeting 3:45/50
The opening prayer leader will be responsible for taking up prayer requests/testimonies and will pray for these and the lesson.
The opening prayer leader will be responsible for setting the atmosphere and encouraging participants to focus on the lesson.

5) Outreach Leader Responsibilities:
The outreach leader is responsible for creating outreach diagrams to place in the Prayer Room and will ensure school areas to be invited are prayed for during Wednesday Growth Groups.
The outreach leader is responsible for organizing ways to invite students to attend P7 Club meetings
Can include (but not limited to):
Lunch table inviting
Morning library outreach General Rules/Guidelines
Our goal is to help our peers focus on God; DO NOT CREATE DISTRACTIONS during lessons by having side conversations, rummaging through belongings, sleeping, etc. Have respect for the teacher and those learning and make newcomers feel welcome.

Remind 101 App
  • ▪  will use P7 email
  • ▪  two people will know the password to avoid confusion
  • ▪  send a message every Tuesday @ 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday @ 7:15 a.m.
  • ▪  write code on classroom board for newcomers to join

Acknowledge This system has been reviewed with me and I have had an opportunity to ask questions and discuss pertinent details. I understand my role on the team.  Background checks are only required if over 18 years of age.  If you are over 18, we will order a background check.
