Promotions System

System Owner: John Hansbro

Purpose and Scope:
To be well prepared ahead of each service (especially Sundays) for any and all promotions, reminders, or announcements that need to be kept in front of our church, and to communicate effectively with creative team for graphics and online/social media spots.

Areas of Promotion: (including but not limited to..)
  1. Missions (Both Global and NAM offerings/events and any great missions happenings around the globe).
  2. Church Events / Services (Any specially planned services or events that go beyond our normal service times that people should be aware of).
  3. Greater Campaign
  4. Birthdays/Anniversaries (Maybe done via slides and/or mentions one Sunday a month).
  5. Special Prayer Focuses
  6. Special Giving Focuses
  7. Any Organizational or District Events that affect the church members in general.

Procedure:
  1. System owner will reach out to team leaders on the Dream Team on the first of each month to obtain any promotional needs for the following month (ie..on Feb. 1, they will be asking for the March promotional needs of the team.)
  2. System owner will meet/discuss upcoming promotions with creative team and pastor.
  3. Coordination by Worship and Creative Teams along with pastor will help form items for promotion that need to be added to the schedules for: Planning Center service schedules, social media and/or online platforms, and any other special ways of promoting (ie. Videos, etc to be made in advance for in person/online services).
  4. All team members will try to keep the focus on only one or two MAIN things that need to be spoken at in-person services and will try to use online/social media to fill in any gaps for clearer understanding/directions.
  5. Promotions should be quick and to the point, and call our members to action.
  6. Promotions will be authorized by team leaders and any major questions then directed toward the Lead Pastor.
  7. Promotions should be completed (if at all possible) no less than one week in advance of their premiering in a service.
  8. Promotions will have a follow up plan of action attached to them (no empty promoting that is just words being spoken with no plan of action).
