KY Junior Youth Camp

January
1.Let parents know the date and location as soon as possible.
2.Let parents know the pricing as soon as possible.
3.Ask church members for sponsors for any who may need financial help.

February
1.Get “Blessing Box” lists out to anyone willing to help donate.
2.Get some dresses/skirts, if there are new girls going
 a.Swimskirt & athletic shirt for swimming
 b.Leggings or shorts for under play skirts and dresses.
3.Get some white and black t-shirts that can be worn under sleeveless dresses.

March/April
1.Have parents fill out paperwork.
2.Recruit workers and have them get their background checks done and Safe Church.
 a.Background checks must be done each year.
 b.Safe Church must be done every other year.
3.Give parents the “Things Parents need to know” sheet.
4.Give them the deadline for when money is due.
5.Include T-shirt money and get kids sizes.
6.Collect t-shirt money and place the order yourself.
 a.Stephen Hicks sends out the link and handles the order separate from camp registration.

April/May - depending on when money & registration are due.
1.Collect money and get the church to cut 1 check for the total for camp registration.
2.Mail in all the paperwork for campers and for workers.
3.Check in with parents again to see who still needs anything in order to be ready to go.
 a.See “Things Parents need to know” sheet.
4.Buy snacks and water to have on hand in case it is needed.
5.Rent a trailer if needed for luggage.

June
1.Make sure the van is full of gas.
2.Take out the back seat if necessary.
3.When camp is over, clean out the van and wash it.
