Please sign up to volunteer at our SERVE DAY with Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland. You will be donating your time sorting food, packing bags for the Backpack Programs, and other tasks. Volunteers need to be at least 12 years old and must be 16 years old to work without a parent or guardian.

- Serve Days for Feeding America will be scheduled once a quarter. Contact: Katelyn Jackson (270) 735-1407 to confirm dates annually. Keep in contact if any adjustments need to be made to the schedule and ensure dates work with both Feeding America and the church calendar.

- Announcements of the Feeding America- Serve Day can be made starting 3 weeks ahead on the church messenger app with registration link and weekly until serve day . Two weeks ahead announcement will be made from church service to promote serve day participation. Another mode of promotion could be made with small group leaders asking groups to consider serving as part of their weekly small group for the quarter.
- Policies: Agreement signed at site include items like closed toe shoes and no sleeveless shirts. Age limit is 12 and up with a parent guardian and 16 years old and up without.
- Consider local guidelines and regulations as far as the number of allowed volunteers which is currently at 24 max. (3/22)
