ProPresenter System
System Owner: James Abbott
Purpose and Scope:
The purpose of the ProPresenter System is to communicate information clearly. The information can range from Bible verses, upcoming events, song lyrics, and other information that audience would benefit from seeing.
Startup Procedure:
1.) Turn on all computers and login
2.) Open up ATEM software
3.) Turn on both projectors
4.) Turn on Black Magic box
5.) Turn on ProPresenter
6.) Verify that Livestream is working properly and has an output
7.) Verify that ATEM software is connected
8.) Verify on the Black Magic box that the auxiliary source is on " Full ProPresenter"
On Sundays: Arrive at 9:00am for musician practice
How to add in a service:
1.) Go to the top left library section and click on the "+" button.
2.) Click on "Panning Center Service"
3.) Click on "Worship Service"
4.) Whether its a Sunday service or a midweek service find that date
5. Click on the service you need and then hit the "select" button
6. Your new service should be in the Playlist section under the library.
7.) Right click/control click on your service and convert it to a standard playlist.
8.) A pop up will appear click "ok" button
9.) Now your ready to add in an songs and verses
Editing Songs:
1.) Pull any songs you need from the library or song select
2.) The theme should be "____________"
3. All the slides need to be 2-4 lines long. In order for it to look good for our Livestream audience.
4.) A quick way to get lines off of a slide and onto another is to click in front of the word you want on a new slide and press "option + return"
5.) Group each slide with the appropriate verse number, chorus, bridge, etc. This is done by right click/control click and go to group and select what you need.
6.) Groups are important because you need them to make arrangements for each song.
Editing Bible Verses:
1.) It's the same as editing songs.
2.) Don't change the theme for the bible leave it as "Bible"
Worship Service:
1.) Listen - Once service starts its your job to listen to the flow of the service. Put up the correct lyrics for what ever song is being played. You just had a practice run through earlier so it wont be so bad, just follow the schedule.
2.) Typically we like to have a motion background while the songs are playing so you can pick what ever you like unless pastor requests a certain background.
Pause to Connect:
1.) Listen - To who ever is doing the pause to connection and once they mention the QR code put the slide up.
2.) Occasionally after the pause to connect there will be a video to play, make sure that video is ready along with the audio. We don't want to be caught off guard.
Preaching:
1.) LISTEN - This is so important because we have to be ready to put up scriptures that the preacher is using. We want to be ready to put that verse up as soon as it's mentioned.
2.) If there are slides that need to be shown with the preaching we need to listen for the "cue" words to put the slides up at the correct time.
Offering/ Pause to connect/ Announcements:
1.) Sometimes Pastor will mention announcements so listen for what he needs because there will be a slide to put up
2.) Who ever is doing offering will mention the QR code so have that ready.
3.) When someone is doing announcements put up the correct slide that goes with the announcement being talked about.
Midweek Service:
1.) Midweek is similar to Sundays, the start up process is the same. Check the email for any slide that need to be put up for that service.
2.) Check with the Worship leader about the song being sung so you can get the lyrics ready in ProPresenter.
3.) Start the 5-minute countdown at 6:55pm so service will start at 7:00pm.
